a bit of my history

and how it all began…

childhood fascinations

My passion for prints started young. Swooning over wallpaper, I was obsessed with finding the repeat in every pattern I saw. I grew up in the fabulously bright 80’s, living in a house that was b built and decorated in the 70’s. Take the colors olive, avocado, mustard, blood orange and mix it with a dose of fluorescent and classic rainbow, throw in some flowers and some 60’s geometrics, and you will find me there, smiling and swallowing up the exposure to my earliest inspirations.

PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

An artistic professional with senior-level experience in Surface Pattern Design, Illustration, Trend Research, and Teaching. Originally from Wisconsin, and previously based in NYC, I have been residing in Paris, France since 2011 and have since become a French Citizen, mais oui! Inspired by the worlds’ changes, I am thrilled to add the title of Professor to my list of accomplishments. The students, who come from around the world, inspire and push me to be on top of my game.
